Peer consultation

Sometimes we all need some clinical or business help from a fellow therapist who really gets us!

I offer peer clinical consultations for grad students, provisionally licensed clinicians, and independently licensed therapists.

I’m a queer, neurospicy, affirming therapist, and my private practice reflects that.

I’ve built a career working with the clients many therapists were barely trained to support: think your poly, kinky, neurodivergent, chronically ill, or just fabulously unique individuals, couples, partners, or polycules.

I’ve done it by doing things a little differently than the traditional therapy playbook.

If you’re also a wonderfully weird clinician carving your own path, I love to share what I’ve learned.

That might look like talking through…

🤷🏻‍♀️ How to work with a polycule without accidentally taking sides

🦄 Figuring out what clients you LOVE to work with and how to market in a way that makes them PUMPED to work with you

🛋️ How to build a profitable and balanced therapy practice that actually fits your brain, health needs, and values

I’ll bring my experience, honest feedback, and any resources that might help along the way.

Common peer consultation topics

Clients

A woman with glasses and curly hair sitting on a doorstep, working on a silver Microsoft Surface laptop, with a potted fern and a rainbow decoration on the wall.

Supporting queer, kinky, or neurodivergent clients

Working with polycules or non-monogamous partners

Helping clients with C-PTSD who feel "too much" or "not enough"

Defining your therapy niche and the kinds of work that fulfill you

Business

A cluttered desk with books, a pink mug, and a small bowl with papers and stationery, against a corkboard decorated with photos, illustrations, and notes, along with some small potted plants including cacti, and a wire basket holding paper cups.

Figuring out why you love working with certain clients but feel drained working with others (yup! That’s totally normal not just okay… it’s key to building a business you love)

Creating a therapeutic identity and marketing in a way that is authentic and speaks viscerally to clients’ pain points

Practical decisions like choosing an EHR, how many clients to see each week, or what a sustainable schedule is for you

Exploring income streams beyond traditional 50-minute therapy sessions (or outside therapy sessions altogether!)
